3d graphics on an Apple IIe in 1985

Check out this video.

Compared to modern computer graphics this may not seem very impressive until you realise he did everything by rendering one frame at a time, on a monochrome monitor. Then he recorded each frame on to film with color filters in front to get the final effect. Its written in assembly and it still took 2 minutes PER FRAME to draw and record (because of moving filters and re-exposing the multiple colors).
